Kathy made these cookies before she took her kids to the beach last week. Kathy, "My daughter LOVES the cookie recipe I use (on our Bulletin Board at Sweet Wise http://sweetwise.com/content/pages/Recipes:Cookies). I made a simple Royal Icing with Powdered Sugar, 7 Tbsp Meringue Powder (http://sweetwise.com/meringue-powder-8oz.html) 2 Tbsp Glucose (http://sweetwise.com/glucose.html), water (thick Peanut Butter consistency). I piped an outer border first, then thinned the royal icing and filled in with Color Flow. I immediately dropped 5 dots of red Color Flow in various spots and pulled a toothpick through to make the flowers. The straps are gumpaste, rolled thin and shaped over paper towel rolls. Once dry, I attached them with more royal (I used a toothpick to dig down a little so they had a hole to keep them in place better. Lindsey loved them; they didn't make it to the beach!!!"
